Paul Bunyan Telephone invites you to the Deer River Chamber of Commerce Winter Fest and 5th Annual White Oak Sled Dog Classic on January 9-12.

Winter Volleyball at Rasley’s Blueberry Bowl

- Human Sled Dog Race near Deer River High School

Twins Caravan Coming to Grand Rapids, January 13
The Minnesota Twins 49th Annual Winter Caravan, sponsored in part by Paul Bunyan Television, is coming to Grand Rapids, January 13.

- Doors Open at 6 p.m.
- Program at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $11 per person and include dinner, program, and autograph session. Tickets are available at the Paul Bunyan Telephone Grand Rapids Office, KOZY/KMFY, and the Sawmill Inn.

The longest running and most extensive offseason team caravan in professional sports, the Twins Winter Caravan is also presented in part by Fox Sports Net North and the Twins Radio Network. The Twins Winter Caravan features five teams of current and former players visiting schools, hospitals and Upper Midwest corporations and service clubs during the day with a traditional "hot stove league" program each evening.
Brrrrmidji Polar Daze Coming Up January 17-25th
The Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Brrrrmidji Polar Daze Celebration, sponsored in part by Paul Bunyan Telephone, is coming up January 17-25th. Activities include a 5k Walk/Run, Candlelight Ski, Broomball, Polar Plunge, Beaver Pride Ice Fishing Contest, Vintage Snowmobile races, Vocalmotive Dinner Show, Bridal Show, and more.
A traditional evening event of Polar Daze is the Taste of Northern Minnesota, being held this year on Thursday, January 22 at the Beaux Arts Ballroom at BSU, with 2 sessions at 4 & 6 p.m. The event features favorite dishes and beverages from over 20 area restaurants and specialty vendors for guests to sample. Tickets are just $15 in advance or $16 at the door if tickets are still available. Attendance is limited so order your tickets now by calling 218-444-3541 ext. 100. Tickets can be charged to your Visa or MasterCard.
6th Annual PBTV Beaver Pride Bonspiel is Feb. 6-7
The 6th Annual PBTV Beaver Pride Bonspiel is coming up February 6-7 at the Bemidji Curling Club. This is a novice tournament and first time curlers are encouraged to participate! Cost is $150 per team of 4, $120 a team for BSU Students and includes a minimum of 3 curling matches, 4 meals (dinner on Friday, all three meals on Saturday), a chance at door prizes, and more! All proceeds go to Beaver Pride.

26th Annual Logging Days is Saturday, February 7
The 26th Annual Logging Days celebration is coming up Saturday, February 7 at the Buena Vista Ski Area.
Paul Bunyan Telephone is proud to sponsor this event, which includes a wide variety of activities for the entire family. Sleigh rides, live music, treasure hunt, food, crafts, chainsaw sculpting, blacksmith demonstrations, and a lot more.
Rashawn Ross, Trumpet Player for Dave Matthews Band, Coming to Bemidji on February 28th
Rashawn Ross, jazz trumpet player currently performing with the Dave Matthews Band, will be performing with the BSU Jazz Band and BSU Jazz Quartet on Saturday, February 28th, 7:30 p.m. at Bemidji High School. Tickets are $15 for adults and available at Lueken’s North, the BSU Department of Music, or at the door if not sold out. Students of BSU and ISD #31 get in free (but still need a ticket). Paul Bunyan Telephone is proud to help sponsor this concert along with the Bemidji Pioneer, Bemidji Concert Series, and the Hobson Union Programming Board.
